Congratulations to our founder, Joanne Canellos, for being the recipient of the Volunteer Impact Award at the Capital Caring Gala in April.  This is the second award she has received for her volunteering over the past 6 years.  In 2023, she was the proud recipient of the Executive Leadership Award, which she was awarded for based on her forming and chairing of the Volunteer Pediatric Committee for Capital Caring Kids

Now booking visits with Teen Miss Virginia Reagan R. Bischoff! As a Tiaras of Hope Ambassador, Reagan “believes happiness can bring healing for those with life-threatening and life-altering illnesses.” Reagan visits children receiving hospice care in their homes and gives them a special tiara crowning! She has special items for girls and boys! We can visit patients in the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC areas.
